My pee is too hot

Holy macaroni!!! OUR BOY EZ IS POTTY TRAINED!!!!
The journey started about a year ago. Potty training, fifth kid, I had this IN THE BAG.
No.
First boy.
I dont have a penis.
Avoidance of any demand.
Not the same.
I made a sticker chart and my mom got his some fancy shark stickers (Thank you Grammy!!)
I did "if you pee on the potty, you can have 3 M&M's"
"If you pee on the potty we can go to Wellington Toffee for ice cream!"
"If you pee on the potty we can _____________"
"How about you just sit on the potty and you can play on the switch! It's a new chair!"
Nothing. He would retain ALL DAY LONG. As soon as a diaper was on for bed, it all came out.
I decided that wasn't the time and then tried again later a couple months later, but then "the dad" started cominng around and it was very dysregulating for Ezra, so I decided one thing at a time and if he was going to have his dad around that was more important right now. That lasted 4 supervised visits and then he suspended them until further notice.
I got Ezra back on track emotionally and then one day he woke up and I said "Hey buddy, we can't play on the switch with diapers on anymore".
And he said "oh! Then I should wear panties!"
I kept it cool. "I mean, if you want to, that's fine."
"No, I don't want to wear panties, just shorts."
"Ok, I can agree to that"
"Let's do it then."
And we were off. He retained for hours! I would say "hey! The switch will die if we dont try to sit on the toilet" (LIES! LIES LIES LIES! - one day I will apologize!)
And he'd sit and count to 30 and then go back out. Nothing.
That night I was sitting in my room at my desk and he came in and so nonchalantly - as non chalant as you can get - said "there's pee in the potty"
"no there's not dude."
"go look for yourself" - SUPER passive.
I got up and went in and WHAT THE HELL!!!! I looked at him and while jumping inside my body I said "now what?"
And again, chillest kid award goes to him..."you can cheer if you want to"
So we had a HUGE DANCE PARTY in the bathroom.
And he said "you're excited for me?!"
"YESSS!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!"
A couple hours went passed and he peeds like 8 times in the potty. It was time for bed and I was getting everything ready and picking up the house and walk into my bedroom and he starts screaming at the top of his lungs...I mean, obviously it's DEATH, right? and he SCREAMS "MY PEE IS TOO HOT FOR MY LEGS!!!"
That was three and a half weeks ago. He has had maybe 4 accidents in total. 1 #2 accident and apparently the way to potty train an Ezra is to not care - but SECRETLY REALLY REALLY CARE. And be prepared to celebrate, if granted that access.
Who knew?
